1985 — Founded in Schuylkill Haven, PA
PolyFlo, Inc. is established as a compounder of fluoropolymer melts in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. From the start, the company focuses on custom formulation and tolling services, serving manufacturers who need fluoropolymer compounds tailored to their exact specifications.
1990s — Building a Reputation for Quality
Through the 1990s, PolyFlo steadily expands its customer base across the wire & cable, chemical processing, and industrial markets. A culture of hands-on quality control — with every employee accountable at every stage of production — becomes the company’s defining characteristic.
2000 — Relocation to Saint Clair Industrial Park
In response to growing demand for our compounds, PolyFlo relocates to a larger, purpose-built facility in the Saint Clair Industrial Park, Saint Clair, PA. The new facility allows us to expand our compounding capacity, upgrade our lab equipment, and take on a wider range of custom projects.
2000s–2010s — Expanding the Product Range
PolyFlo broadens its compound offering to include PEEK and additional specialty grades alongside our core fluoropolymer resins (FEP, PFA, PVDF, ETFE, ECTFE). Proprietary techniques developed over decades allow us to maintain tighter melt flow tolerances and more consistent color matching than industry standard.
Today — 40+ Years and Growing
PolyFlo continues to operate from Saint Clair, PA, serving customers across the U.S. and internationally.
